Beef stroganoff recipe

Beef stroganoff recipe is a classic dish with tender meat and fragrant sauce. 

Here is a simple recipe for you:

Ingredients:

500 g of beef (for example, from a shoulder blade or beef fillet), cut into thin strips
2 medium onions, cut into half rings
2-3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons flour
300 ml beef broth
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 tablespoons soy sauce
200 ml of sour cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Herbs for decoration (parsley, dill)

Instructions:

In a large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.

Fry the onion until soft and golden.

Add the beef to the pan with the onion and fry until the meat turns brown on all sides.

Sprinkle the flour over the meat and mix to evenly coat all the ingredients with flour.

Pour the beef broth into the pan, add the tomato paste and soy sauce. Stir and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat, cover the pan with a lid and simmer the meat for about 1-1.5 hours, until it becomes soft.

Before serving, add sour cream, stir and bring to a temperature without bringing to a boil.

Season the beef stroganoff with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve the beef stroganoff hot, sprinkled with finely chopped herbs. Potatoes, rice or noodles are suitable as a side dish.
